  • 1. In Settings and in MY Site>Tool>Marketing “My Related Posts” is on. This however does not apply to Block Editor. Does it mean that I have to convert my blogs to Classic Editor? How do I do that not manually and will it affect the look and feel of the website?

Right now the Related Posts tool does not work with the block editor. If you convert blocks to a regular post it might affect the look and feel, depending on which blocks you used. There’s no way around that currently. Hopefully the problems preventing it from working will be fixed in upcoming versions.

  • 2. Advertising on blogs and pages: I am not against it but is there a way I can have more relevant advertising such as jobs in energy and mining for example? Another way would be to introduce WordPress to associates of mine. WordPress will still get the money and I will have more relevant advertising on my site. Would this be possible?

Being able to choose which ads go on your site would be great. We don’t have that feature at this time, so my best suggestion in this case is, if possible, sign up for a plan that removes ads for you. The ads are there to cover our costs, and by buying a plan you offload that.

  • I *think* I was able to answer all of the questions you’ve posted here. Going forward, would you be willing to create a separate thread for each unrelated issue, as we ask here in our community standards and best practices post?
    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/best-practices-community-standards/

By putting each question in its own thread, with its own title being on topic, I think you’ll find faster help from the community as well as from staff.

And, if you find you haven’t had help and need staff attention, add a “modlook” tag.

I hope this helps! I am going to go ahead and close this thread as it has become quite complex at this point (and possibly glitchy), but if you need further help with any of these issues, please feel free to start a new thread for each one, and we’ll go from there.

    Cheers!
