How can I get my posts to publish when scheduled?

My posts don’t show up when scheduled. I have to go to the wordpress site before the posts will publish.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s the way scheduled posts work. They don’t show up till someone goes to the actual blog.

There’s no way around that? I have it publish on different sites and people won’t go to the blog if it doesn’t publish. What’s the point of having scheduling if you have to go to the blog anyway?

No there is no way around that. It is how the software works. Scheduled posts do not publish until the first visitor to the site after the date and time scheduled clicks in and triggers publication of the post.
