I am not real savvy at computers but I want to build a ‘One Page’ website

I am what you call an expert witness. I deal in ladder injury and ladder wrongful deaths. I want a simple page that would contain a huge amount of text. It would be like reading a book. I made the mistake of trying to build such a site with go daddy. Big mistake. I only had enough space for a few paragraphs. If I go with you do you offer what I need?

As for some specifics here, you’ll definitely want to set a static front page for your site: https://wordpress.com/support/pages/front-page/ and there’s no limit to how much that can contain.
You might also want to consider the Blank Canvas theme: https://wordpress.com/theme/blank-canvas as it’s geared towards one-page-only sites.
