I see your requests from this morning, but I’ll close those and take care of the issue here.
In the future, please hang in there while we get back to you. We have over 38 million users here, so it can sometimes take us more than a few hours to get back to you.
It looks like you’re trying to change your blog’s address, so first please make sure that you’re following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
If you’re still running into the “only lower case letters” error, please let us know exactly what you’re typing.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. The link you sent me was exactly the one that I was using . I am typing in riffedme and it keeps thinking I am typing in capital letters. I also have another questions…Am I supposed to use riffedme.com since that is my domaine name that I bought on Onmis? I am so confused….
Question Two: Does adding a page mean that the name will appear across the top bar on the Twenty-Twelve template. I have succeeded at adding a page but it only appears beneath it in Preview…How do I get more tabs across the top?
Thanks

1. Try pasting just this, and make sure you don’t get any spaces before or after:
riffedmeAlso, if you’re mapping a domain, you don’t really need to change the WordPress.com blog URL (as the domain will display instead of it), just map the domain following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
2. Yes, new Pages (not Posts) will appear in the navigation bar, or you can override that with your own custom menu created at Appearance -> Menus in your Dashboard. See this for more info and a video tutorial: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

I will try it…Now for what I know will be the dumbest question of the day….If I put it in that way will people accessing my site have to use the odd spacing?
Thanks
Jill -
No, they’ll access it at riffedme.wordpress.com, unless you map riffedme.com to it, at which point they’ll access it via riffedme.com.

ri f fedme Here is a copy of exactly what I typed and it still tells me that I cannot use capital letters….When I copied and pasted the address you formatted it changed it back to regular spacing when I pasted it…
HELP
Thanks

Does one have any advantage over the other?
Well, riffedme.com is much shorter riffedme.wordpress.com, so it’s easier to type and looks nicer. ;)
ri f fedme Here is a copy of exactly what I typed and it still tells me that I cannot use capital letters
You can’t use spaces either. Just enter riffedme
You can add spacing to the title via Settings -> General in the blog’s Dashboard.
-
So do I just type in riffedme.com for my address and the WordPress. com will disappear?

There’s a bit more to that, you need to follow this guide to map the domain: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Truthfully this is one of the most difficult tech days I have ever had…Where do I find general in settings? I looked but I don’t see it and no matter what I try all I get is still the no capital letter message when I try to change my address…Should I dump the whole thing and simply start over???

Where do I find general in settings?
It’s the very first Settings panel. Just click Settings and you’ll be there.
I looked but I don’t see it and no matter what I try all I get is still the no capital letter message when I try to change my address
Please make sure that you are also not entering spaces or punctuation marks.

This is a copy of the page that will not let me change my address -
Copying and pasting the text doesn’t help much, as it includes all possible variations of the page, including hidden data.
What were you trying to convey above?
-
I just do not understand what you are telling me to do….
I found it now what do I do with it?? Do I change the address in the address bar??? -

If you’re just changing the blog’s address from riffeddotcom.wordpress.com to riffedme.wordpress.com, you need to follow this guide specifically: http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
If you are changing riffeddotcom.wordpress.com to riffedme.com, you need to follow this guide specifically: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
The two are entirely different processes.
