I really need help with the Twenty Twelve Template.
-
I was trying to show you what the general setting look like…What should I do with them to get this issue resolved?
-
I have already paid the $13.00 and been billed for the mapping so why do is it telling me to pay it again?
Jill -
riffed.com is mapped, and would work, but the nameservers are incorrect.
Per the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ they need to be:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM NS2.WORDPRESS.COM NS3.WORDPRESS.COMYou’ll need to get in touch with your domain registrar to make these changes.

This is exactly what I copied from the information provided and gave to Omni when who indicated this was correct. I have also asked for a refund of my $13.00 for the mapping of riffeddotcom and just got an e-mail that it had been processed. Per the directions I will now go to the store and map riffedme.com and pay another $13.00 Does this solve the problem?
Jill -
That still won’t solve the problem of the nameservers, as they are still not pointing to us.
I recommend contacting your registrar again.

I have now mapped riffedme.com to WordPress. Can you check to see if the the nameserver problem has now been fixed?
Thanks
Jill -
I can confirm, http://riffedme.com/ is now properly directed to your WordPress.com blog.
When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors”. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
You can continue to update your site while your custom domain propagates, by going directly to your Dashboard, here:
