ICCANN verification email hasn't been sent

The ICANN verification email hasn’t arrived yet, and when I try to resend it, it says there’s an error. Do I need to wait until the domain is set up. I just registered it in the past hour…The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, I’m trying to verify my email address for my domain and I’ve clicked the “send verification email” button 5+ times over the last two days. I use gmail and have check all my folders (including SPAM) and no email has arrived. What do I do??

@plevault13 I’ve just sent your email again. In gmail try this search:
“in:all yourgroovydomain.com”
— without quotes, of course, and with your domain instead of that placeholder.
You should find it. It comes from the registrar.

Have checked that email (spam, all mail, trash, inbox) and still don’t see it. I double checked the email address I have down, but also checked my other email. Still no sign of the verification.

Can you check with the mail provider for that other address? Also, did you receive my email about it? You can respond there.

To be clear, right now we are talking about the email I sent to remind you of the other address.
Are you searching all folders for that? Different mail providers have some ways of doing this, for example, “in:all WordPress” in Gmail would work.

Yes, the only “emails” I’ve gotten are emails notifying me of a post on this thread. But I did check the link in the wordpress account and it’s the email address that I’ve been checking. Are there other key words I can use to look besides my domain? I can check again. And yes, have looked in “all mail” “inbox” “spam” “trash” “archive” …. everywhere I could think that it might get hidden.

You or your mail provider must be filtering them.
Can you confirm the address you’re checking for the ICANN email? Only staff can see addresses posted in the forums, so it’s safe to go ahead and share it here.
