Importing problems

  Hi! I am trying to import my squarespace site and I am having trouble. I went through the process of importing, and it appears to be complete. However, none of the content is appearing on my wordpress page. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  Hi there!

  I just checked your site and I can see that there are seven pages that have been created/imported. Please click My Site → Pages and you’ll see the list of pages.

  Here are a few things you may want to do next:

  1. Change the homepage. I see there’s another page called Home (copy) here: https://bonnychipman.wordpress.com/home-1/ – if you want to set this as the homepage, you can follow the instructions here to do so: https://wordpress.com/support/pages/front-page/

  You can edit this page by clicking My Site → Pages → Home (copy) (title of the page) and then remove all the junk code that appears to have come over.

  2. Add the pages to the menu. One of the reasons you can’t navigate to those seven pages is that they aren’t linked anywhere on the site. You can add them to the menu of your site at the top right (where it says Home, Blog).

  To add the pages to the menu, click My Site → Appearance → Customize → Menus → Primary → Add Items. Then, click the + icon before the page names on the right to add them to the menu. When done, click Save Changes at the top.
