  Ok…

  I have figured out how to add images using the iPad app, but when I use the “insert media” button on the “posts” web page, I get a chance to upload an image, but it doesn’t show in the post. (Also, is it just me, or is the size of the post editing window impossibly short?)

  How does this work?

  Due to file usage restrictions on the iPad, that won’t really work.

  Instead, try our app: http://ios.wordpress.org/

  Hello Macmanx,

  Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I am using the app on the iPad, and with success. It is using the web site posting page, on a laptop with Safari where I can’ t get images to post…

  Well, it appears there are *two* web locations to enter a new post, one here:
  http://wordpress.com/#!/post/

  and the other here:
  http://journeyintoclimate.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

  The first works well. The second, well, aside from being short as heck, didn’t work so well. We’ll go to the first!

  Why two, so different, locations?

  https://journeyintoclimate.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php is the original fully-featured posting interface.
