Missed Renewal, How Do I Get The Domain Back?
-
Hello, I was late with renewal for a website, how do I get it back please? Any suggestions at all?

Your domain thesouthapproach.com expired on July 18. We sent several email warnings both before and shortly after it expired.
Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 90 days. You can learn more about expired domains here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/
The good news is that we are still able to recover your domain, as it is currently in the Redemption period: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period
A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by our domain partner and is not one which we can waive. That’s in addition to your annual domain renewal from us, so the total is going to be $98.
I have sent a payment request for the total of $98 to the email address on your account. Once the payment is sent, please reply here to let us know, and we will recover thesouthapproach.com.

No worries at all and thanks for letting me know.
My mistake for not renewing it sooner. Lesson learnt the hard way.
Thanks again.

Hi there!
Just to clarify, are you choosing not to restore/renew the domain at this time?
Note that while the domain may be released and available in the market for anyone to register after the full expiration process, there’s no guarantee that you can register it again, as anyone can register the domain when it’s released. As the original owner of the domain, only you can restore the domain while it’s in redemption.
We understand if you choose not to restore the domain from redemption, but we wanted to clarify that you risk losing the domain if it’s not restored from redemption.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to let us know and we’ll be happy to explain and help further.
Regards
