I went into my app and changed (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I never see s reset link. I receive a link via (email visible only to moderators and staff). I click it and I’m taken to a sign in page. I must enter the original email for the system to recognize the account. It requires me to enter a password. That’s where I’m stopped. There is no option to reset my email. There is a “forgot email “ link which sends an email to the original email address. I can’t get into that account any longer.. 😕

What I can do is email you at your mgjdmv email and if you respond to that email, it will confirm ownership. Then I can update the email to the anamaria email.
I just sent the email. Let me know if you do not receive it.

I guess one of the problems is that everyone is not on the same page… As I mentioned very early in the thread, that email address was deactivated years ago.

There must be some ither way to verify ownership…. besides all the instructions already posted here.. I have been working with this site actively in the last few weeks, as you can see. I have access via my WordPress app on my ipad. It is miraculous still available to me via my app. But I cannot access the dashboard or login on the web because I do not remember the password associated with that email. And that email is no longer valid!
I am wanting to upgrade, but cannot until I can get this resolved..

It is possible to change that account’s password within the iPad app. Can you please try that first and let us know how it goes?

Actually, when I click on the “ me” icon in the app, it says my email is (email visible only to moderators and staff) and that my user name is michaeljarman2. I am able write directly into my jarmanmichael blog from this app.

But! I am logged into my iPhone WordPress app the same way, but I cannot see my site at Jarmanmichael.

Can you please let know an email address other than the @yahoo.com one that you’re currently using for the michaeljarman2 account to use for the account you want to access?
After updating the email address you’ll be able to receive the password reset email and subsequently recover access to your account.

Ok, as you know, (email visible only to moderators and staff) is the email associated with the account that I’m trying to change because it is inactive.
So I’m wanting to change it to (email visible only to moderators and staff)

I’ve updated the e-mail address associated to your account to anamaria email.
Now that anamaria email is connected to the account, you can enter that email address in the password recovery tool. Please check your spam folder for the recovery email if you don’t receive it in your inbox immediately:
