My blog content is gone

Hello. My blog content and design has completely disappeared. I last logged in a few weeks ago and made a lot of changes but everything was working fine. I also tried to claim a domain name that I own, littlebarncharm.com, but I didn’t go through with it all the way because I didn’t want to pay the fee that wordpress was charging to switch it over. I originally bought the domain name through a website building site called Wix. Now when I log in my blog posts are totally gone as are all of my pages and design elements. I don’t even think it’s operating under the same theme. And when I logged in WordPress forced me to pick a new domain name for my site. I am totally lost as to why this happened and I am really hoping my content isn’t lost forever. It took me so long to build it, please help!

But, NOTHING is visible in my dashboards for either. None of my posts or pages are there. It’s a totally different theme and every design element I added is gone.

What is the URL of the site you are TRYING to manage? It doesn’t sound like it’s hosted here at all.
http://www.littlebarncharm.com/ is not connected to any WordPress.com blog; it’s connected to Wix.

Yes, it’s my Wix site and I was trying to bring the domain name over to wordpress but didn’t know how. I am not sure if that’s what caused my content to disappear which is why I mentioned it. But I have some content showing up under hellohaileybond.wordpress.com. But nothing in the dashboard for that blog/site. Everything is gone.

All of your images appear to be hotlinked from the littlebarncharm.wordpress.com site. Did you change the URL at some point from one to the other? Did you set the posts on that littlebarn site to Private?

Yes, I changed my URL from hellohaileybond.wordpress.com to littlebarncharm.wordpress.com (or I tried to anyways).
My posts are always public.
Why can’t I access/see anything on my dashboard? There are no posts or content when I click on “Posts” or “Pages”

Ok. Now when I click on “All Posts” or “All Pages” in my dashboard all my content is showing up for hellohaileybond.wordpress.com except the images in the library. The images are there under my library but they are just those little blue boxes with question marks. I checked the media library for the littlebarncharm.wordpress.com site and it is totally empty. So I am not sure where they went?

My images were not importing from Wix. All I did is switch from one wordpress blog to another (from hellohaileybond.wordress.com to littlebarncharm.wordpress.com). It has nothing to do with Wix. My images were originally uploaded from my computer directly to my wordpress media library.
Also, images being gone isn’t my only issue. All of my design elements are gone too. My blog is back to the default twenty-eleven theme, with no pages, blog posts, or my header, font choices, color scheme, etc. Some of the blog is still visible through the OLD blog, https://hellohaileybond.wordpress.com, which I deleted about a month ago after switching over. At some point today, I was able to access a dashboard where my blog posts and pages were showing up, but I can’t seem to navigate back to it at all. I think it was the dashboard for hellohaileybond.wordpress.com, which again, has been deleted.
But to be clear, this issue has NOTHING to do with Wix. I used to have a website under the name littlebarncharm.com through Wix. I disabled the website on Wix so that I could use my domain name (littlebarncharm.com) on my wordpress site. The domain name is the ONLY thing I tried to bring over from Wix, and I don’t believe it is causing any of the above issues because I did not go through with claiming the domain name on WordPress because the site wanted to charge me $12 or something like that and I wasn’t ready to pay it yet. So please ignore all this Wix stuff and somebody please help me get my blog content and design back?!

Also, on Nov. 13, 2013 I paid $30.00 for custom design of my blog. Now it prompts me to pay this again when I try to edit my blog. Today I went back in to try and start rebuilding it and didn’t get very far because I have no access to custom design. Can someone please check on this also? Thanks.

A custom design upgrade is an annual subscription and it appears yours is near to expiry so you are being prompted to renew it. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to “What happens if I remove Custom Design?” http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

Mine doesn’t expire for nine days. So I shouldn’t have to pay again until Nov. 13th, and until then, I should still be able to access custom design. It is not promoting me to “renew”. I can’t access custom design at all so I don’t think my subscription carried over.

You can export and import content only. Upgrade subscriptions don’t “carry over” from blog to blog. They have to be transferred. You can manage all your upgrades across WordPress.com in one place on the My Upgrades page.

It looks like something weird happened when you tried to change your blog’s address. If you could just hang tight, I’ve asked our developers to take a look and transfer your content to your new site littlebarncharm.
