  My website is showing a 404. What are the diagnostic steps I need to take to fix this problem?

  Hello! I see that your site is using the Index template as its home page currently when I look at Pages -> All Pages. Since the content has been removed from this template at some point, I would recommend resetting it using our guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/templates/reset-a-template/

  Thank you for your response! Unfortunately, when I click on the three dots at the bottom right of any of my templates, the “Reset” option is not revealed. All I see is “Edit”.

  I just noticed that your domain name is also pointing to a different site, could you try opening your DNS records like shown here, then delete the A records pointing to 13.248.243.5 and 76.223.105.230?

  Ok, I deleted those A records. Thanks!

  The error I get now when going to treythibodeaux.com is “Server Not Found”.

  Hi @deancroyaldeancroyal! Thanks for doing whatever you and @honhonjaccuse did! The site seems to be up and working!

  I want to have my own website because it seems like a smart thing to do since everything is online. I want to put my resume there for employers and other things I’m working on there. I’m also studying html and would like to test out the things I’m learning there.

  I just didn’t realize how quickly I would mess things up by deleting everything and trying to start from the bottom up.

  I appreciate the quick responses from WordPress staff!
