My wordpress.com site has suddenly stopped working

I need help. My wordpress.com site has suddenly stopped working. Blog won’t load. Message in browser: “The connection has timed out. The server at tomfahy.wordpress.com is taking too long to respond.” I can open my admin home (https://wordpress.com/home/tomfahy.wordpress.com) but can’t access posts or site settings. What’s going on?
I’ve cleared the browser cache, tried different browsers, tried different browsers on different devices. Same everywhere. I can read my posts on https://wordpress.com/reader but the photos don’t load (text only). Example: https://wordpress.com/reader/feeds/111358286/posts/5581992124.
It’s a free account (for now) and I don’t have a custom domain. Everything worked fine up to yesterday.

I’ve checked your site on my end and it is loading correctly, and the images are displaying as expected. I’ve also checked it in the Reader and the images are loading correctly there as well. Here’s a screenshot for your reference:
Since everything appears to be working fine on my end, it might just be a temporary connection issue on your side. Would you mind trying to access the site using a different internet connection and letting me know if the issue persists after that?

Hi @elcristofue. Same for me. I’ve tried both Edge and Chrome, and “in private” with Edge. I can get to “my home”. But, nothing else. suyts.wordpress.com.

We’re currently seeing an issue affecting access to some WordPress.com sites in certain regions and ISPs. Our team is actively working on a fix.
In the meantime, here are a couple of workarounds you can use to keep managing your sites:
Use the WordPress.com dashboard directly: wordpress.com/home/yourdomainname
If needed, trying a different network (such as a mobile hotspot or VPN) may help as a temporary workaround.
