NO domain on the dashboard

  • Unknown's avatar

I written on this forum last Monday (7 days back) that my domain is not in my dashboard and was signposted to help email. The help email should have been in the FAQs. I shouldnt have been compelled to write in a public forum just to get customer service.

Whereas there was an acknowledgement and reason given that purchase using google IDs can have this problem, till date I do not have a resolution. I wrote 3 times now saying I am actually having business loss – I cannot set up email, cannot settle office signage, work on website. Without domain I am fully stagnated yet no response. I cannot understand what kind of company WordPress is when they cannot even track down a domain purchase despite all purchase details been provided. I am worried, draining financially and thoroughly exasperated. I am totally lost as to how irresponsible, incompetent this company is. !!!!!!

What kind of non-sensical response is this? My comment is about the delay to revert with a solution. Why is it taking 7 days to track a domain purchase when all details had been provided to your esteemed staff. Also have the decency to give a decent response with correct sentences and words. I am a paid customer, who is suffering due to the incompetence of the company to revert to me with a solution, Dont give a response which makes zero sense, full of typos with total disregard for the concern I had raised.

    Hi,

I’m really sorry about your experience, both with the domain issue itself and with the response you received here. That reply wasn’t up to the standard you deserve as a paying customer and I completely understand why it made things worse.

You’ve been waiting 7 days, written in 3 times, provided all your purchase details, and you’re losing business every day this isn’t resolved. That is completely unacceptable and your frustration is totally valid.

Since this involves a domain purchased via a Google ID, which is a known issue that requires staff to locate the domain manually on the backend, this needs to be handled by the WordPress.com support team directly rather than through the public forum. If you haven’t already, please contact them at https://wordpress.com/help/contact and mark it as urgent, referencing all your previous correspondence. The more ticket references or email threads you can include, the faster they can trace the history and escalate it.

If you’re still not getting a response, replying to your most recent open ticket to bump it up is the best move right now. You can also try reaching out via the WordPress.com Twitter/X account at @WordPresscom, as social channels sometimes get faster traction on stalled cases.

I really hope this gets resolved for you today. You’ve been more than patient.

    Kind regards

    Guilherme
