Password Reset was incorrect

  I appear to have been locked out of my WordPress Account.

  When I requested a password reset, it was not addressed to my user name and now I don’t appear to be able to log into my account dashboard.

  How do I get help to resolve this problem?

  Hi Guys,
  This is not my username and I have only been trying to use WordPress to write my first blog since October 2018!!!!!

  Something appear to have gone wrong with the WordPress website and now I can’t get back to the blog that I was trying to create!

  What the heck is going on!

  Hi Ian,

  ianastrouk is the username for this WordPress.com account which has existed on our system since 2010. The email address at which you received the password reset email has been connected to this account all this time.

  However, this account has never owned any site on WordPress.com.

  Can you please tell us the URL of the site you’re trying to access, as well as the correct username?
