post in static page and auto appear on home page

Here is what I am looking to do. I want to be able to create a post in the specific menu pages that I have, such as accessories, auto, electronics, news, quotes of the day and sports. And once I do that I would like for it to auto appear on the home page. Also, when I create a new post on the specific menu pages they stay there and when I create a new post it just pushes the old one down on that menu pages. Like is does in the home screen. How can I have this done?

Hi there!
After reading your message, I think Category Pages is what you are looking for! So essentially this allows you to create categories like Accessories, Auto, Electronics, News, Quotes of the Day, and Sports. Then you can add each post into their respective categories. Then in these pages, only posts in those categories will appear.
Then you can add these category pages to your Custom Menu.

Thanks, that did help, but now for some strange odd reason, when I post for auto, it shows up in my quotes. and I am clicking the auto category so I have no clue why that is happening.

Hi there!
After looking into your account, I found that the reason it is showing up as a quote is that you set the Post Format to Quote as seen here:
If you would like the Quotes to disappear, please edit those posts and set the format to Standard.

it is not posting as a quote. It is just adding to my quote of the day menu and not my auto menu.

There might be confusion between the Quote Format and the Quote Category as seen here:
Please the category as Quote, but change the Format to Standard. Those quotes are showing up here:

If you want them to show up under your Auto menu, select Auto as one of the categories.

Yes, thankfully that is what I am doing. Unfortunately it is not going in the right category and it keeps on going in the Quote Category instead of the check marked Auto Category. Please feel free to try a test on my account regarding that. If you see something else that I am missing. Please let me know.

Well if you know anything about Tesla, it is that some states do not want them there because of cutting out the middle man, Dealerships shall I say. Maybe because they will not make money. But for the most part, Telsa seems to be a mainstay. Maybe it is because of the Model S, which is by all means, the greatest all electric car made according to Consumer Reports.
But whom am I to judge. Maybe the fact that Telsa is not only coming out with the Model X, but are in the works of a more family friendly, meaning price range of $35K, car for all us to enjoy.
The Model 3 has beauty, sophistication, and boy would I like to drive one right now, fun attitude to its design. From what I read in regards to some specs on the Model 3, it is showing that it will compete in the class of the Honda Accord Electric, Toyota Camry Hybrid, Hyndai Sonata Hybrid.

I see that you still set your 3 published posts Format to Quote. Would you like this set to Standard?

Yes, the post I sent you goes into the auto category. I’ve tried to publish it in the auto category but it keeps on getting added to Quotes category and posts on the quotes menu page.
those previous 3 are fine and should stay where they are at.

I found that you did not create Category Pages but instead added just regular pages. I added category pages for you so now you are able to see the Auto category with the Tesla post.

When you go to Appearance > Menus in your Dashboard you have to add categories from the Categories module not Pages as seen here:

Thank you. I appreciate that. Now, I have another question. How do I get a main image to stay there for each category. Instead of constantly having to upload one. So when someone clicks on lets say the Auto category, the image above it stays the same until I change it.
So right now if you go on my main page: http://www.mansapartment.net and click on Auto, Elec…and so forth. The quote stays up there. I want a standard picture for each one of these. -
Hi there,
I see that you set your Appearance > Header to random headers. Unfortunately you wouldn’t be able to set a custom header for each page; however, it would be possible if you edit CSS with the Custom Design upgrade. It is $30/year and in addition to editing CSS you can apply custom fonts and color.
You can try out the upgrade by going to Appearance > Customize in your Dashboard. If you decide to purchase it and realize it’s not for you, you can get a full refund within 30 days.
