post in static page and auto appear on home page

Sounds great and I do plan on that. Before the category change I was able to do that. What changed?

Nothing has changed. The category change would not have changed this. It may have been that the random header was appearing on the correct one. However, please note this is random it will always change.

thanks. previously however, stopped the rotating header, and uploaded a permenant image for Quotes. Then when adding the post for quotes. It was able to stay with out changing or the image becoming another one.

Ah that was because it was a static page, not a Category page. This means that posts in that category will not show up just like the issue when you were trying to post in Auto.
If you want static pages then you can set a Featured Image which will appear as the header image.
However, if you set a featured image for every post, when a reader clicks directly on that post, it will show that image in the header. You can read more about this in the Hemingway-Rewritten support guide here:
