Instead of creating a new site (to use with your new [redacted by staff] URL) are you trying to add your upgrade to another site on your account?
If so what is the URL of the site you were trying to upgrade? Happy to move the upgrade to the intended site instead. Thanks for clarifying.

That is what I wanted to do, so I asked “could you apply it to another account of mine please?” and I was told to secure the plan by visiting “https://wordpress.com/pricing/”. It now turns out that this created a completely different account even though I am logged into my main account and now I am at a complete loss as to how to fix this.
Now I have a major problem because I cannot ‘map’ the domain to my existing blog because it is associated with an existing blog itself (I exported the data from my free WordPress blog because the .com domain had zero content).
If I try to delete the content on my WordPress blog, I can’t doit independently and have to rely on WordPress staff, but that option isn’t very fast, especially when by email WordPress says 24-48 hours. I don’t want people following the new blog when it isn’t the original and I am worried that the longer it remains up, the more likely that it will happen now I have a .com domain. Also, I want the data insights from my existing free blog.
Please note that both this site and the newly-created .com domain are on WordPress and connected to my main account, so it doesn’t appear that any of the suggested options fit because you seem to want to charge me for this option.

I just clicked transfer and it looks like something has been updated …I was granted permission to move it to my existing blog and it worked! I didn’t receive the message “The target site doesn’t have a paid plan, so you’ll have to pay the full price for a domain mapping subscription when the domain mapping next renews. You will not be able to set it as primary either. If you upgrade the target site to a paid plan, these features are included in the plan.” Thank you very much if it was you!
However, my account says in order to use the .com domain as my primary domain, ‘Upgrade to a paid plan to make this your primary domain’. Is this requirement something you can waive?
In addition, how do I transfer. any new likes and followers to my existing page? Is that even possible?

As staff-totoro mentioned above we can just move the purchase to the desired account. We need you to please confirm which site do you want to have all the subscriptions on. Right now, there are two:

I’ve moved the plan and bundled it with [redacted by staff] so everything should be in one place now. Please confirm that this is what you were looking for.
Note that, since the subscriptions were moved manually, the auto-renewal is turned off for the plan. To turn it on, you’ll need to add payment details at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/.

You shouldn’t need to do any of that, but if you received any likes under [redacted by staff] that you’d like to move to [redacted by staff], just let us know and we’ll take care of that for you.
Deleting the site [redacted by staff] will not affect your domain [redacted by staff] in any way. Just make sure you opened the correct site before deleting it.
We do not delete threads on this forum but we can redact any personal data if needed.

Yes – I have now been able to make the .com domain the primary way of connecting to the site and it appears in the search bar.
Just one of each, haha, but yes please. If I delete the website before you action this, will you be unable to do so?

Do I need to purchase the Personal plan again in the former mapped domain?
