    What is the other account? Discounts aren’t always transferrable to another username, as they often apply only for certain situations.

    This means you bought a personal plan today, but if you wanted to upgrade to a Premium plan instead today, $48 would go toward your purchase. If you wanted to upgrade in 6 months, we’d apply about $24 toward the purchase because you will have used about half of your subscription up by then. Does that make sense?

    Do I need to purchase the Personal plan again in the former mapped domain?

    If you only have one site, you only need one plan, so unless you’re adding another plan, you’re good to go on that.

    I’m sorry, I was updating the other thread all evening and I didn’t realise that new pages could be created.

    On [redacted by staff] (personal plan), which I deleted a few hours ago, a message from ‘Anne’ said “Because you’ve built your site with WordPress.com in the past, we wanted to offer you a 25% discount on a one-year subscription to WordPress.com Personal, bringing the cost down to….”
    I’ve created other sites under the same name so I was really hoping you would be able to transfer it on this occasion. Feel free to PM with your decision.

    I believe I understand what you mean with regards to the credit for an upgrade. I would like to upgrade my site today.

    Sure thing, but bear in mind that we others will still be able to see your username right under your profile picture. That’s not something that can be removed.
