Remove blog posts from static homepage

  I would like to remove the three blog posts featured horizontally at the bottom of my static homepage, but when i go into pages and try to utilize the front page and post page drop down options it doesnt erase the three blogs from the bottom of my static homepage. Right now the two drop down boxs are set to Writing Made Easy and Services. I had set them to Writing Made Easy and -Select-, but that didnt work.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
