Retrieve email

Hi
I received an email via the site to my icloud account, however, I accidentally deleted it. I don’t know how to find the email through my site? Does the email go directly to my icloud account and no copy is on the site? Therefore, if deleted in icloud, I cannot retrieve it through my site and it is lost?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m not sure I understand what the email you received on iCloud has to do with your site. Or do you mean it was a notification email from your site? When was it and regarding what? I don’t see any notification emails sent from our system to your email address during the past week.
Have you tried restoring the email from trash in your iCloud account?

Thanks for the response.
I received the email notification including the full content of the message that was sent via the contact form on my site. I accidentally deleted it and it is not in my trash folder and is not recoverable. If I go onto my site and view notifications, I can only view comments and likes etc but cannot view actual messages sent via the contact form. Not sure where to find these messages on the site? Or where in a folder it would be kept? So for instance, the message is sent to my email but is there no copy of this message anywhere else in the event that I accidentally delete the email from my iCloud account?
It wasn’t sent within the last week, probably about 3 weeks ago, if not longer. -
