Setting a Static Home Page (Blog Feed)
-

Hi Support Team,
I am having trouble with the layout of my WordPress site. Currently, when I click “View Page” or enter my site URL, the “About” page pops up automatically.
I would like my Blog Article/Home feed to be the only page that appears immediately when the website is loaded. I want the blog articles to pop up first instead of the About page.
Could you please guide me on how to set my blog feed as the permanent front page?
Thank you,
Houda Merfouk

Hi Houda,
Your screenshots point to two places to check: the homepage setting and the Blog Home template itself.
First, check whether the About page is assigned as the homepage:
- Go to Settings > Reading.
- Next to “Your homepage displays,” choose “Your latest posts.”
- Click “Save Changes.”
- Open your site in a private/incognito window to check what visitors see.

If the About content still shows after that the next place to edit is:
Appearance > Editor > Templates > Blog Home
In that template, remove the content you do not want on the homepage, then add a Latest Posts block or Query Loop block where you want the blog articles to appear. After saving the template, visitors should land on the blog feed layout.
These guides may help while you check those two spots:
