Thumbnail Issues

  My featured image doesn’t display when I share the link for a blog. I have tried the suggestions, but my main header image still appears when I share a specific post.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  When I copy the link or click “share” from the blog, the featured image won’t show up on Facebook, linkedin or Twitter.

  Thanks, that helps! The problem with this post is that the featured image is only 207×197 pixels. For an image to be used when you share the blog post, it has to be at least 200×200 pixels. (Otherwise, the other sites like Facebook won’t use them, and they’ll look for another image from your blog instead.)

  Your best bet is to resize the image so it’s at least 200×200 pixels (or find another image that’s at least that big) and upload that as your featured image.

  Hey there. I deleted the old image and uploaded a new one that’s at least 200×200, but it’s STILL not featuring the image when I try to share it on Facebook. This still seems to be the only blog post that won’t share properly. Can you help?

  I ran your post through Facebook’s debugging tool to check it here:

  In the “Object Properties” section you’ll see the information we sent Facebook, including your new image. Everything looks okay there, and when I tried sharing your post on Facebook your new image popped up for me. Can you let me know if you’re still having trouble with it?

  Facebook usually caches (saves) the information about your blog posts in its system, so when you make changes to a post sometimes it can take some time for Facebook to catch up. If you ever have problems with that kind of thing, you can enter the link to your post in that debugging tool and it should force Facebook to refresh its saved information.
