Tracking clicks on a pdf

In WordPress itself, or via any plug-in, is there a way I can track how many people have clicked on a particular pdf?
Sometimes I create a pdf and send it to people via email or other means. So I’d like to find out how many “download”, i.e. click on to open, the pdf. This is different from how many people click on a website I create.
For instance this pdf, which I haven’t sent to anyone yet, but when I do, I’ll wish to know how many “download”, it i.e. open it:
Click to access edv-20221022f-ps.pdf

It is possible to track links inside of WordPress.com as seen here: https://wordpress.com/support/stats/#clicks
So if you have a link that, links to a PDF in the content, then you could see how many people have accessed that PDF.
There’s also a download section too, as this would be a PDF file: https://wordpress.com/support/stats/#file-downloads
