URGENT | Need help connecting with Human WordPress Support
-
I have been told by the AI assistant multiple times that I need to connect with human support, but every attempt to do so leaves me in an empty instant-messaging chat.
This is the second time I’m posting on the forum as the previous post led to no solutions. My website is down due to PHP errors caused by the ConvertKit plugin, however, I can’t disable the plugin at all. When trying to access the Plugins page, the website crashes; when trying to access the PHP file, the website crashes; when trying to trigger safe-mode on the website, the website crashes. I also have not received any emails from WordPress that would allow me to enter the site in a mode that has all plugins disabled.
I did post on the Kit plugin forums for support, and their recommendation was to get assistance with removing the plugin from my website. The AI assistant says only WordPress human support are able to help me in this situation. I haven’t had website access in more than a week now, and I’m running out of options other than initiating a chargeback on my card and switching web hosts.
Any insight as to how to get in touch with human would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi Taylor,
Sorry to hear the plugin took your site offline!
If you’re on the Business or Commerce plan you can fix this right away via SFTP or SSH. Log in using an FTP client and rename the
convertkitfolder inside yourwp-content/pluginsdirectory. Renaming that folder forces WordPress to deactivate the plugin which should bring your site back online,If you are on a different plan — or if you need a hand getting into SFTP — let me know which plan you have and we’ll figure out the next best step.

Hi there, If you are unable to resolve this following @benitoalba advice, since you gave more information about the error in your earlier forum thread at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/critical-error-315/ I’ve flagged that thread for staff assistance. Thanks for your patience.

@justjennifer Thank you!
@benitoalba Thank you for your reply. I have limited experience with FTP clients and getting into STFP. When I try to get into the site settings and look at STFP and get the credentials, I’m getting this error:
The Jetpack site is inaccessible or returned an error: transport error – HTTP status code was not 200 (500) [-32300]I am currently on a Business account, and it’s possible I’m going to the wrong area.
