Website Gone and Need to Change DNS settings to point away from WordPress hosting

I started to build a website and paid for hosting with WordPress however I was sick for a while and it all fell behind. I would like to get access to the website again. I had also changed the DNS settings for my email address and now I am unable to access the emails as I need to change the email settings to move away from WordPress back to GoDaddy. Can you help me please? And is the website that I created gone now?
