What happens to my upgrade after the year subscription runs out?
-
If my WordPress Premium ($99.00/yr.) runs out, do my posted videos disappear from my blog? (say i use 8 GB and the standard space is only 3.0 GB, what will happen if i do not renew the subscription?
Also- If i do decide to change my domain name to make mine more personal and do not renew it in a year, then will i be reverted to the basic domain name? (ex: vividventure.wordpress.com), and will i therefore have to pay to map my old domain name back to my basic one or visa versa?
-My basic question is, what do i get to keep permanently, if anything, from the premium wordpress package that i just purchased?
Thanks for your help,

Hi David,
It may help to take a look at more details about each upgrade that’s included in WordPress.com Premium:
Any videos or other media that you upload while you have WordPress.com Premium will stay there even after it expires. However, if you use more than the free 3GB of space, you won’t be able to upload any additional media after that.
If you don’t renew the domain, you will lose ownership of the domain name and will need to go back to using the free WordPress.com address (vividventure.wordpress.com). Visitors will also need to use the free address instead of the domain name to get to your site.
However, if you decide at the end of the year that you don’t want to keep WordPress.com Premium but you’d like to keep some of the individual upgrades, you’re welcome to do that. If you decide to go that route, you can use the “Cancel” button on your Store > My Upgrades page to split up the Premium plan into its individual upgrades and just renew the ones you want to keep using. You can also get in touch with support at that point and we can help you with that process.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about that. :)
