WordPress site won't load

    Good Morning All,

    I am so frustrated, its been 3 days now that the WordPress site (even the homepage before I log in) won’t load in my browser! It loads for a few minutes and then throws out a blank page with the message ‘this site can’t be reached, wordpress.com took too long to respond’

    I usually access the wordpress site on my work computer through wifi, and I thought maybe it was just the connection giving problems. But then I tried accessing wordpress on my laptop at home with my own wifi, and it still wont load.

    But the weird thing is, if I turn off my wifi on my cellphone and only use the mobile data, I can access wordpress via my cellphone.

    Can somebody pleeease help me? The solution might be simple, but unfortunately I know nothing about IT and websites etc!

    Hi, are you struggling with https://lelievandieveld.wordpress.com/ or a different site?

    It kind of sounds like your router may be blocking the site. Are you able to access it on your home wifi?

    Hi, I’m not able to access ANY wordpress site, I can’t even reach the login page, or help forums via my work desktop or laptop at home.

    I am also not able to access it on my home wifi. So I cant access wordpress at work or at home. Only when I turn off my wifi and only use my mobile data, I am sometimes able to access wordpress on my cellphone.

    I also thought the router might be blocking the site, but this has never happened before? And then it will be a big coincidence that my work wifi and home wifi randomly blocks wordpress at the same time?

    @lelievandieveld If you use some kind of proxy for work from home, that might be an issue.

    I’d recommend calling your home ISP first though or your work, since they’ll likely be able to help you sort this out faster than we can if the block is on their end.

    Or you can perform a traceroute to try to determine where the connection is being blocked. Here’s how:
